Using Cat Bordhi’s recent book, New Pathways for Sock Knitters Book 1, Bob will lead you through the two “socks for learning” and help you to understand the ideas and terminology contained in Ms. Bordhi’s interesting method of sock construction.

Knitting Lace Triangles

Evelyn Clark’s Knitting Lace Triangles was the book that helped Bob to take the step from “knitting lace” to “understanding lace”. Bob will help you to understand the terminology and techniques used in the book as well as get you started on your first lace triangle that can be used as a neck scarf or expanded into a full size lace shawl.

2 Socks on 2 Circular Needles

Socks on Two Circular Needles
Do you suffer from “Second Sock Syndrome?” Learn to knit both socks at the same time!! Not only will they both get done, you know they will both be the same size, gauge, etc. While using 2 circular needles, we’ll knit a pair of socks from the top down using worsted weight yarn, so they'll knit up quickly.

Knitting 911 Workshop

Learn basic techniques to help you fix your boo-boos, and possibly prevent them! We’ll learn how to pick up dropped stitches, un-knit, and recognize what’s gone wrong and how to fix it. You’ll gain confidence as we practice on swatches in class.

Square of the Month Afghan

1 session $20, or 3sessions for $45

Join us as we knit a beautiful afghan – AND learn a lot of new knitting techniques along the way! Each month Kristin will teach you the basics of one 10" x 10" square. You can knit one or two of each depending on the finished size afghan you want
(30" x 40" or 40" x 60"). This is a FANTASTIC way to take your knitting and purling skills to the next level in bite-sized steps!
One square a month (or two, or more if you want). No problem!!

Classes must be paid for at the time of registration.
You can withdraw from a class at least 7 days before the class begins;
you’ll receive store credit toward another class.
Unless otherwise noted, materials are not included in class fee.
There is a material’s list for each class.

The Really Fine Print:
Knitting contains 0 carbs, calories or fat. Check with your doctor before you begin a serious exercise program. Knitting has few dangerous side effects; but has been the cause of isolated mini-riots in certain California-based adult assisted living communities. Knitting can be habit forming and has been found to be addictive for certain individuals. If you have knitting sessions that last over 4 hours, consult your doctor; or local fiber specialist immediately.

Knitting is not based on chance. Classes greatly increase skill. Knitting is for entertainment only and should not be utilized for investment purposes.

Unattended children will be given a kitten and drippy snow-cone.
